The Digital Solutions, Data, Information Management & Artificial Intelligence Bureau (ASD) within Global Affairs Canada enables Canada’s global presence by equipping diplomatic missions and partners with secure, integrated digital tools and high quality data. It drives departmental transformation by leading digital service delivery, data governance and artificial intelligence. The ASD division office is located at 200 Place du Portage, Gatineau QC.

EDUCATION
ED1 - Graduation from a two-year program of study from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.

STREAM A - IT-02 IT Analyst, Software Solutions
EX1 - Experience working on IT application development projects with multi-disciplinary teams to implement business IM/IT solutions.
EX2 - Experience in designing, developing, and deploying software solutions in a corporate environment.
EX3 - Experience analyzing and documenting technical IT problems and proposing solutions.
STREAM B - IT-02 IT Business Analyst, Business Line Advisory (BLA)
EX4 - Experience working on IT application development projects with multi-disciplinary teams to implement business IM/IT solutions.
EX5 - Experience working with clients to develop business requirements in support of application development for existing product management enhancements or new application development projects.
EX6 - Experience translating business requirements into clear functional requirements and recording them in Azure DevOps.
STREAM C - IT-02 IT Systems Administrator
EX8 - Experience in administering cloud platforms, including managing environments, user access, and configurations.
EX9 - Experience supporting business users or development teams by troubleshooting platform issues, analyzing incidents, and providing technical guidance.
EX10 - Experience supporting platforms within an enterprise service context, including documenting best practices and operating procedures, following change and incident processes, and implementing governance or security requirements.
STREAM D - IT-02 IT Analyst, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence
EX11 - Experience performing complex data exploitation on large volumes of data to provide tactical and strategic insights, products, or recommendations directly to relevant stakeholders.
EX12 - Experience designing, implementing, and testing generative artificial intelligence solutions.
EX13 - Experience designing, implementing, and testing data science solutions, including one or more of: statistical modelling, machine learning, or other advanced analytical techniques.
EX14 - Experience developing, testing, and delivering data science solutions using standard software-development processes and tools.
STREAM E - IT-02 IT Data Warehouse Developer
EX15 - Experience designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouse solutions, including dimensional data models and database schemas.

STREAM F - IT-03 IT Team Lead, Software Solutions
EX18 - Significant* experience analyzing requirements and providing advice and guidance on IM/IT matters to various audiences such as clients or management.
EX19 - Significant* experience in establishing and managing relations, consultations, and collaboration with key business stakeholders and management.
EX20 - Significant* experience working within or leading activities across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
EX21 - Experience working as part of an application development project.
