About the position

Work environment
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of change in Canadian policing?
The Body Worn Camera (BWC) program is a new initiative being introduced to the RCMP, and we're seeking a dynamic, solutions-oriented program delivery coordinator to help drive its success.
If you're passionate about supporting frontline policing, process improvements, and tackling complex problems, then this could be the perfect role for you. Are you ready to join us on this transformative journey?
You’ll also be in an environment that helps you establish a positive work/life balance, providing access to partial work from home opportunities, flexible scheduling (such as completing your hours of work over 8 or 9 days instead of 10 in a two-week period) and a number of amenities including a gym and full service cafeteria on site at our E-Division (Surrey) Headquarters.
In the Program Delivery Coordinator role, you will work with a team to deliver critical program and disclosure support services to frontline BWC users across the BC RCMP.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing advice and guidance to E Division users of BWC/DEMS
- Conducting analysis and processing of requests for service (transcription and redaction)
- Providing input to the development of BWC/DEMS policies and procedures
- Conducting research and analysis of BWC/DEMS related issues or requirements
- Planning and delivering BWC/DEMS training or information sessions
This position is located in a law enforcement environment which includes regular contact with uniformed and armed police officers.
Intent of the process
Anticipatory.
A qualified group of candidates may be identified and may be used to staff future permanent or temporary vacancies (including terms, actings, casuals, assignments and secondments) in similar-level positions (at full or part-time hours, including shift-work). Once established, the qualified pool will be valid for a period of one year and may be extended.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM.
