About the position
DutiesWorking within the program delivery team the account assistance duties will be comprised of:
- Preparing and reviewing correspondence to clients.
- Assisting in maintaining client portfolio including inputting, reviewing and interpreting financial statements, monitoring, closing accounts, preparing amendments to contracts, preparing debt confirmations, and contacting clients.
- Preparing and reviewing a variety of documents and reports.
- Administrative duties including making travel arrangements, drafting and uploading documents, registering new applications.
- Other administrative duties required to support the Program Delivery team.

Intent of the process
This process will be used to staff one indeterminate position at ACOA in Sydney Nova-Scotia. No pool of
qualified candidates will be created as this is a unique position.

Education:
Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Experience:
• Experience in providing service to internal and/or external clients.
• Experience in interpreting financial statements.
• Experience in performing various administrative duties such as reception, filing, word processing, managing schedules, making travel arrangements, organizing meetings and events and preparing various documents (correspondence, memos and reports).
• Experience working with software applications such as Microsoft Suite (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint).
