Provides clerical and administrative/operational support services and related information/guidance, typically in support of a specific function or a program area at a site or in a field unit.

Wood Buffalo Field Unit is seeking an administrative professional eager to work in one of the most exciting and spectacular regions of Canada. You will work out of the Wood Buffalo National Park office in Fort Smith, NT.
This is a unique opportunity to become directly involved in the protection and presentation of the outstanding natural and cultural resources of Wood Buffalo National Park.
Intent of the process
This process will be used to fill one (1) vacancy and may be used to create a list of qualified candidates to staff similar positions with various tenures within the Wood Buffalo Field Unit.

▻ Isolated Post Allowances: approximately $14,579 to $24,298 per year

EDUCATION
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience relevant to the position.

EXPERIENCE
• Experience in the provision of administrative support services to internal clients and the public;
• Experience in using e-mail, internet and standard office software (e.g. Word and Excel);
• Experience in maintaining electronic or hard copy filing systems;
• Experience handling requests for information and services from internal and external clients by phone, email or in person.

• Knowledge of general office administrative/financial practices and procedures .

• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and successfully manage a diverse and demanding workload meeting firm deadlines;
