Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) helps the Government of Canada serve Canadians. The intention is to increase onsite presence to 4 days per week as of July 6, 2026.
Due to operational requirements, this position is not eligible for full-time telework.
Specific work arrangements or any accommodation requests will be discussed with the hiring manager based on the position and operational needs.
Intent of the process
A pool of partially assessed candidates will be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions, within the Department of Public Services and Procurement Canada, with various security requirements and/or tenures.
The positions to staff are currently located in Ottawa and Gatineau, but the pool can also be used for positions across Canada.

You need (essential for the job)
Your application must clearly explain how you meet the following
EDUCATION
A) Engineers (EN-ENG-03):
Graduation with a degree* from a recognized post-secondary institution in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering or some other engineering specialty relevant to the duties of the position.
B) Architects (AR-04):
Graduation with a degree* in architecture from a recognized post-secondary institution.
C) Landscape Architects and Town Planners (AR-04):
Graduation with a degree* from a recognized post-secondary institution with an acceptable specialization in landscape architecture or in urban planning, rural planning, community planning or some other specialty relevant to landscape architect and town planner positions
*Unless it is otherwise specified (e.g., master’s degree), the term “degree” refers to a baccalaureate as established by educational authorities.
❗️You must be prepared to provide the original or a certified true copy of your educational credentials. For candidates with an international degree, Canadian equivalency will also be requested.

Experience
EX1: Professional work* experience in Real Property** project management in design and construction of buildings (construction includes buildings, infrastructure, interior fit up and equipment) or engineering assets***.
EX2: Experience in leading or participating in multi-disciplinary project teams.
EX3: Experience with engineering or construction procurement processes and contract management.
EX4: Experience in preparing or reviewing technical documents, such as design or tender drawings, specifications, functional programs, or feasibility studies, schedules, cost estimates and budgets.
Definitions:
*Professional work experience is defined as experience acquired outside of an educational setting and demonstrated through the performance of a variety of relevant activities over two (2) years.
**Real property is defined as any property attached directly to land. Real properties include buildings, roads and bridges. Real property services include but are not limited to portfolio planning, leasing, procurement, disposal, planning, management, design, renovation or construction.
***Engineering Assets is defined as (bridge, dam, wharf, or road).

AED1: Possess current certification with a Canadian provincial association granting professional license in engineering.
AED2: Possess current certification with a Canadian provincial association granting professional licenses in architecture.
AED3: Possess current certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
AED4: Possess other project management training, certification, or education.
