Duties
District Training Coordinator
The District Training Coordinator will be working with Training Branch and the Western Alberta District, District Management Team to ensure that mandatory RCMP training is compliant with divisional & federal regulations. Duties will include, but are not limited to, monitoring of the training email proxy, track and report training compliance, use various RCMP operating systems, and assist the District Training Unit with the organization and planning of district courses.

Intent of the process
The intent of this process is to staff a position on a indeterminate basis in Grande Prairie, Alberta, and create a pool of qualified candidates. The pool of qualified candidates may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures (i.e. indeterminate, term, deployment, acting, assignment and secondment) within the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM.

Conditions of employment
• RCMP Enhanced Reliability Status (ERS) security clearance.
Those selected must meet and maintain the above condition of employment throughout their employment.
The process requires a Security/Reliability Interview, a field investigation in matters of credit/finances, education, employment, references, etc.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Willing and able to work in a busy police environment, including exposure to unsettling and/or graphic material.
• Willingness and ability to travel for work and/or training purposes using various modes of transportation.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime, as required.

EDUCATION
• Successful completion of two years secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience*

EXPERIENCE
• Experience using spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel
• Experience providing administrative support*

• Experience providing administrative support services in a law enforcement and/or legal environment
