About the position

Duties
- Oversee the delivery and management of corporate services including finance, information management, asset management and regional planning;
- Function as part of the Regional Management Team;
- Communicate with clients and teams to obtain and provide required information and ensure quality service;
- Read, interpret and input information in order to respond to requests, and to process transactions while demonstrating thoroughness and timeliness.

Intent of the process
📢 The immediate intent of the process is to staff indeterminately one position at Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada, in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory.
A pool of partially qualified candidates may be established, which could be used to staff temporary, and/or permanent positions, with similar qualifications, various linguistic profiles, various security requirements, and/or various tenures at Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada, within the Yukon Region. Conditions of employment may vary according to the positions to be staffed.

EXPERIENCE
- Experience in managing human and financial resources.
- Experience in the provision of financial and administrative services in a government setting.
- Experience in providing financial and administrative strategic advice to senior management.
- Experience in working in one or more of the following sector of activities:
­ ----> corporate services practices and procedures in material management;
­ ----> security and/or physical accommodations (office space);
­ ----> information management and/or information technology services;
­ ----> planning or project management.

ASSET EDUCATION
A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in accounting, finance, business/public administration or some other specialty related to this position.
