DutiesThe Department of National Defence is seeking to employ Licensed/Registered Practical Nurses (LPN/RPNs) within their Canadian Forces Health Services Centres to support two key areas of responsibility: within Care Delivery Units (CDUs), where they contribute to the delivery of primary care, and within supported Canadian Forces Recruiting Centres (CFRCs), where they provide occupational health services. This staffing process is intended to support both settings, and the successful candidate may be required, based on operational needs, to provide coverage in the alternate setting (i.e., CDU or CFRC), as needed.
Key activities of this role include, but are not limited to:
♦ Initiating and Following the Nursing Process
♦ Assessing the health and well-being of patients
♦ Performing Nursing Interventions
