FSWEP:
full-time secondary or post-secondary student in an accredited institution
- currently recognized as having full-time student status by the academic institution in which you are presently enrolled
- returning to full-time studies in the next academic term
- the minimum age to work in the province where the job exists
YESS:
-Between 15 and 30 years old
-Canadian citizen, permanent resident or legally entitled to work in Canada
-In addition, preference may be given to candidates who self-identify as, Indigenous, visible minorities or persons with disabilities, as well as youth facing barriers to employment. As such, we encourage you to self-identify in your application.

About the position

Duties
SU-01: Student Heritage Interpreter(s)
The Student Heritage Presenter is required to effectively communicate information, role-play, perform in theatrical offers and read and understand interpretive presentations and historical references. Contacts are with visitors to convey messages, deliver presentations, and respond to visitor inquiries.
SU-02 - Visitor Service Attendant Student(s)
The Visitor Services Attendant student will involve providing cashier services and revenue control. The position involve providing information and assistance to visitors and maintains facilities.

Operational Requirements

SU 02: Visitor Service Attendant Student(s):
Possession of a valid class 5 driver’s license.
SU 01 & SU 02: Student Heritage Interpreter(s) and Visitor Service Attendant Student(s):
Be willing and able to work: irregular hours, overtime, weekends and/or on statutory holidays, when required.
Must be willing to wear uniform or costume.
Be able to make moderate physical effort to sit, walk and stand for prolonged periods.
Be exposed to variable weather conditions.
Be exposed to airborne irritants such as: noxious odours from car fumes, dust, wood or coal smoke, pollen.
SU-01: Student Heritage Presenter(s)
May be required to carry and shoot a musket

Experience in paid or volunteer work that entailed direct contact and communication with the public.
SU-02 - Visitor Service Attendant Student(s)
• Experience in interacting with the public in a reception/orientation capacity
• Experience in handling cash and operating point of sales
SU-01: Student Heritage Presenter(s)
• Ability to deliver messages/information to groups in face-to-face situations with the purpose of education, engagement, entertainment and/or motivation.
SU-02 - Visitor Service Attendant Student(s)
•Ability to anticipate/meet public needs, resolve complaints, anticipate/detect incidents and find solutions.
