Work environment
Whitehorse is the largest city in the Yukon. Over two-thirds of the Yukon's residents live in Whitehorse, which has a year-round population of about 36,000. Intent of the process
The immediate intent of the process is to staff indeterminately one position at RCMP, in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory.
A pool of partially qualified candidates may be established, which could be used to staff temporary, and/or permanent positions, with similar qualifications, various linguistic profiles, various security requirements, and/or various tenures at RCMP, within the Yukon Region. Conditions of employment may vary according to the positions to be staffed.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM.

Operational Requirements

• Willingness and ability to work over-time, sometimes on short notice
• Willingness and ability to travel for work and/or training purposes, using various modes of transportation
• Willing and able to lift and carry objects (maximum of 20kg/ 44lbs).
• Willingness to relocate within 40 km of position location

EXPERIENCE
• *Recent experience using accounting software such as SAP or Excel
• *Recent experience providing advice and guidance on programs and services to clients
*Recent experience signifies having performed these duties within the last three years.
