DutiesResource Management Technicien II (EG-02) :
⮩ Provides logistical and technical services in support of resource management program applied science, monitoring and active management projects.
Resource Management Officer I (EG-03) :
⮩ Delivers technical and analytical services in applied science, monitoring ans active management related to a resource management program.

⮩ Be willing to travel and/or work in various environments and weather conditions as well as isolated localities and to use various methods of transport.
⮩ Be willing to work irregular hours, overtime, weekends, national holidays, and provincial/territorial holidays as required.
⮩ Be willing to take training to obtain certificates to operate various types of land vehicles (all-terrain vehicle, snowmobile) and marine vehicles (motorized and non-motorized watercraft) when required.

⮩ Experience using a variety of data/sample collection equipment
⮩ Experience implementing scientific and technical protocols and methods
▶️EG-03 only :
⮩ Experience in participating in all phases of applied science projects in the field (logistics, data collection, data analysis, presentation of results)
⮩ Experience in contributing of preparing technical/scientific reports (ex. field protocol, draft manuscripts, etc.) and preparation of disseminated material (presentations and/or information to be published on the Web).

📝 ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:

⮩ Degree from a recognized university with specialization in environmental or natural sci-ences (e.g., biology, ecology).

⮩ Experience in spatial data analysis with ArcGIS software.
⮩ Experience in bird inventory by listening points.
⮩ Experience with the operation of boats in the style of rowboat or Zodiak especially in the marine environment.
⮩ Experience in field work or scientific research in marine and/or freshwater environments.
⮩ Experience of work in isolated field.
