Duties
Cleans and maintains Forillon National Park buildings/facilities and grounds to enhance the visitor experience.

Operational Requirements

The position requires the incumbent to:
• Perform repetitive tasks.
• Stand for long periods, bend, stretch, and work on ladders.
• Carry out tasks requiring physical strength, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, kneeling, squatting, and extending the arms above shoulder height.
• Be exposed to the odors of cleaning products.
• Be exposed to minor injury risks while performing cleaning or maintenance tasks.
• Occasionally demonstrate tasks to other employees.
• Work on various types of terrain and in changing weather conditions.
• Work shifts, weekends, federal and provincial holidays, and perform overtime when required.
• Wear the Parks Canada uniform in accordance with the Parks Canada dress code policy and Agency requirements.
• Agree to obtain workplace health and safety certifications required for the position.

⮩ High school diploma or an acceptable* combination of education and experience.
* An acceptable combination of education and experience means: three (3) years of completed secondary education AND a minimum of twenty-four (24) months of work experience related to the position.

💼 EXPERIENCE:

⮩ Significant work experience* in housekeeping within a commercial, community, institutional, or public facility.
* Significant work experience is defined as at least 12 months of work during which the candidate was responsible for performing a substantial portion of housekeeping-related duties.
