Intent of the process
Currently there are temporary vacancies to be staffed.
A pool of qualified candidates may be created and used to staff indeterminate, term, full-time and part-time positions.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM.
Successful applicant is required to work in Regina, SK. Telework or alternate work locations will not be an option.

Successful candidates will require a valid RCMP security clearance prior to appointment and
throughout the tenure of their employment. The process to obtain an RCMP security
clearance may involve, but is not limited to, a security/reliability interview, a field investigation
regarding matters of criminal activity, verification of credit/financial status, reference checks,
education, employment history, online activities, alcohol and/or drug use, etc., and may
require certain residency requirements.

📌 FOR EACH EXPERIENCE CRITERIA, please provide the following MANDATORY information:
1 - Name of the department or organization where the experience was acquired;
2 - Title of the position occupied; and
3 - Specific details of tasks or projects demonstrating how the experience was acquired, and provide concrete examples.
The successful candidate will be required to provide original documentation of proof of Canadian Citizenship or permanent resident status prior to appointment. Other candidates may also be asked to provide this documentation at various stages in the selection process. The following documents will be accepted as proof: Provincial or territorial birth certificate; Naturalization certificates (issued prior to Jan. 1, 1947); Registration of Birth Abroad certificates (issued between Jan. 1, 1947 and Feb. 14, 1977); Certificates of Retention; Citizenship certificates; Permanent resident card.
Testing/interviews will be conducted at the location of the employer's choice.
Written communication will be assessed throughout the application, including screening questions and resume. Conditions of employment

Security Clearance: Royal Canadian Mounted Police Enhanced Reliability Status
Work shift work (24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year)
Work in a busy police environment, including exposure to emotionally charged clients and incidents which may be traumatic, violent and disturbing

Operational Requirements

Willing and able to work rotating shift work (days, evenings and nights with various start and end times) including weekends and statutory holidays.
Willing and able to work overtime, as required
Willing and able to be exposed to indirect exposure to traumatic events and unsettling information (e.g. fatalities, violence)
