Intent of the process
Intent to fill two (2) indeterminate position. A qualified pool of candidates may be established and may be used to staff this position or similar positions or for future term, acting, assignment, secondment, deployment, or indeterminate opportunities.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM.

Enhanced Reliability Security clearance – those selected must meet and maintain the above condition of employment throughout their employment.

Operational Requirements

Possession of a Class 5 driver’s license or personal mobility to the extent normally associated with the possession of a valid driver’s license.
Ability and willingness to travel via aircraft and vehicle.
Ability and willingness to work overtime, on occasion

Experience in the use of PROS (Police Reporting Occurrence System) or Niche.
Experience providing advice, support or guidance to clients.
Experience in various computer applications: Excel, Power Point, and Word.

Knowledge of PROS or Niche
Knowledge of Record Management Systems and policies relating to retention, access and disposition of RCMP Operational Records.
Ability to plan and deliver coaching or classroom training sessions or presentations.
Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations.
Ability to interpret policy or legislation
Ability to communicate orally.
Ability to communicate in writing.

Experience in the use of CPIC (Canadian Police Information Centre).
Experience in the use of N-PIRS (New Police Information Retrieval System).
Experience in providing data quality review.
