DutiesThe Partnership Advisor is part of a regionally focused team responsible for generating leads, providing navigation support, developing financial partnerships and making recommendations on proposals to build and finance affordable housing at scale.
Working under the direction of the Director of Partnerships, the Partnership Advisor supports Partnership managers in structuring transactions with proponents, as well as provides early-stage navigation and proposal support to proponents and internal teams. The role supports projects at different stages of development, helping to clarify requirements, support lead development, and advance proposals through the pipeline in alignment with established BCH frameworks.
The Partnership Advisors work with their team to prepare clear, evidence-based briefings, recommendations, and presentations for BCH senior leadership and provide senior-level advice on partnership opportunities, project risks, and proposal assessments.
The Partnership Advisor works collaboratively and horizontally with teams across BCH and may be assigned to different regions*, projects, or priority files over time to support evolving program needs, workload distribution and time-sensitive initiatives.
*Regions include:
Ontario region: defined as the entire province of Ontario.
Quebec-Atlantic region: defined as Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island (PEI), and Newfoundland and Labrador
West region: defined as British Colombia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
Indigenous-focused and/or North region: defined as housing portfolios that are specific to Indigenous peoples across Canada, including First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities. North is defined as Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut.

BCH is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to support the advancement of affordable housing projects and partnerships across BCH’s portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated experience supporting the development of housing initiatives and collaborating with multiple levels of government, Indigenous communities, private developers, and non-profit housing providers. They will be able to analyze housing, financial, and policy information and translate it into clear, actionable insights to support management decision-making.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to assist in partnership coordination, support agreement administration, and contribute to cross-sector collaboration. Organized, proactive, and adaptable, they will be capable of supporting multi-jurisdictional initiatives, work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to support innovative, effective, and community-focused housing outcomes.
