Life Cycle Management Technologist and Senior Program Lead for Electronics (EL-06/07)

Duties
EL-06 and EL-07 positions will be responsible for overseeing technical operations, ensuring compliance with policies, and providing leadership within a dynamic environment. Key duties include but are not limited to the following: • Verify project directives to ensure compliance with applicable policies.
• Modify existing network infrastructure designs and update documentation, including “as-built” diagrams.
• Supervise a team of 3–10 personnel.
• Operate a wide range of test equipment for data collection and analysis, including radio frequency (RF) receivers, signal analyzers, thermal analysis tools, and antenna configurations.
• Operate and maintain radio frequency (RF) measurement systems and communication equipment.
• Prepare technical reports for clients and provide guidance in accordance with policy.
• Conduct technical investigations, trials, and experiments on electronic communication systems and equipment.

Intent of the process
The purpose of this process is to staff approximately 15 EL-06 positions and 8 EL-07 positions on an indeterminate (permanent) basis within the National Capital Region. Positions may be designated as English Essential or Bilingual and will require various security clearance levels.Please note: all roles involve full-time onsite work across multiple locations, which may require flexibility for regular travel.A pool of partially or essentially qualified candidates may be established through this process and used to staff identical or similar positions with various employment tenures (temporary and permanent), language profiles, operational requirements, and conditions of employment at the Department of National Defence.
