About the position
Duties
Perform general maintenance and repair tasks.
Clean and maintain campsites, washrooms, and other facilities.
Operate and maintain equipment like chainsaws, tractors, and ATVs.
Work environment
Join our team at Bruce Peninsula National Park and Fathom Five National Marine Park! We are looking for dedicated individuals to help maintain our beautiful parks. You'll be involved in general maintenance, repairs, and cleaning tasks to keep our facilities in top shape for over 500,000 annual visitors.

Conditions of employment
Reliability Status security clearance - Must pass a security clearance.
Valid class G driver’s license.

Operational Requirements
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work in various terrains and weather conditions.
Commitment to safety and willingness to obtain first aid and MED A-3 certification.
Wear a Parks Canada uniform as per the uniform policy.

Building construction/maintenance

Additional Qualifications:
Experience with small engine repairs is a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of building, landscaping, and maintenance.

Ability to work independently and make decisions.
Effective communication with team members and visitors.
Physical ability to perform heavy labor tasks (e.g., carrying 50 pounds for up to 300 meters).
