$36.97 to $41.68 per hour - We also offer an attractive compensation plan, which may include relocation assistance, allowances for isolated positions, and/or a premium for supervisory responsibilities. Eligibility varies by position and location.

Operational Requirements

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Willing and able to work overtime and an on-call schedule.
• Willing and able to work in extreme weather conditions.
• Willing and able to travel.
• Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DND 404 driver's license.
• Possession of a valid provincial or territorial driver's license.

• Experience inspecting work performed by employees or contractors to ensure compliance with codes, standards, contract deliverables.

ASSET EDUCATION
• Graduation from a recognized post-secondary institution with a technologist diploma in a relevant field such as electrical, mechanical, civil or structural.
• Successful completion of a minimum 2-year post-secondary program in one or more of the following areas:
- Construction Engineering Technology (any discipline)
- Project Management
- Business Management
- Facilities Management
- Contract Management

ASSET OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION
• Possession of a valid provincial or territorial Journeyperson Certificate of Qualification in a related trade.
• Possession of a valid Red Seal Designation in a related trade.
• Possession of a valid Technical Qualification Level DP3B (e.g. QL6B) in the Canadian Armed Forces or equivalent qualification as a Construction Engineering Superintendent.
• Possession of any of the following occupational licenses and/or certifications
- Backflow Prevention Certification
- Confined Space Entry Training
- Cross Connection Control Specialist
- Fall Arrest Training
- Fire Safety Training
- Lockout Tagout Training
- Material Handling Equipment Certification
- Occupational Health and Safety Training
- Rigging, Hoisting, and Lifting Equipment Certification
- Standard First Aid Certification
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Training
Additional licenses or certifications relevant to the position being staffed.
ASSET EXPERIENCES
• Experience supervising employees.
• Experience supervising contractors.
• Experience in facilities management.
• Experience managing mechanical, electrical or structural systems within buildings, including the development and implementation of maintenance schedules.
• Experience in planning and managing a preventative or operations maintenance program.
• Experience in scheduling and supervising maintenance work required to meet compliance standards and regulations.
• Experience inspecting contractor performance relating to applicable codes and contract deliverables.
• Experience developing scope of work and estimates for low-risk projects.
• Experience providing advice and technical input with regards to construction and/or technical maintenance.
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary construction environment.
• Experience working with programs in Microsoft Suite, such as Microsoft Word, Excel or others).
Asset qualifications may be invoked as essential qualifications.
