Conditions of employment

▶ Various Security clearances - Reliability or Secret
▶ Strict adherence to the Department of National Defence and Canadian Forces Code of Values and Ethics, Values and Ethics Code for the Public Sector, Directive on Conflict of Interest, and Defence Administrative Orders and Directives (DAOD) 7021-1, Conflict of Interest.

▶ COE1. Must be willing and able to operate cleaning machinery for long periods of time, including full days and/or multiple days in a row.
▶ COE2. Must be willing and able to wear and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in compliance with safety regulations.
▶ COE3. Must be willing and able to wear safety footwear as required.
▶ COE4. Must be willing and able to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 kgs in accordance with general safety practices.
▶ COE5. Must be willing and able to climb ladders to perform various duties at heights of up to eight (8) feet.
One or more of the above conditions of employment may be required, depending on the position being staffed. Additional conditions of employment could also be required, not listed above. The complete list of conditions of employment will be communicated to candidates at the time of consideration for appointment for each position being staffed.

Operational Requirements

OR1. Must be willing and able to work shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
OR2. Must be willing and able to work overtime as required and approved.
