DutiesStudent Day Use Area Attendant:
Provides traffic management, visitor services, revenue collection, and site cleaning and maintenance at key day use areas in Banff National Park. This includes but is not limited to: flagging and other traffic management, providing information to the visiting public, litter picking and group cleaning, and regulation and safety compliance.
Student Entry Gate and Visitor Centre Attendant:
Revenue collection at various visitor service locations including visitor centres, entry gates, day use areas and retail locations. This includes providing comprehensive information to the visiting public on a wide variety of topics including but not limited to: campgrounds, trails, points of interest, safety, wilderness travel, park regulations and policies, selling a variety of passes, and properly accounting for revenue received.
Student Campground Attendant:
Provides visitor services to enhance visitor experience, and cleans and maintains Parks Canada Agency area buildings, facilities and grounds. This includes but is not limited to the daily cleaning of; campground washroom facilities, day use area washrooms/pit privies, campsite cleaning/maintenance, grounds cleaning and litter picking, emptying of trash and recycling receptacles. May also include greeting & orienting visitors, revenue collection, providing information and basic administrative tasks.
