Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to fill one (1) position on an indeterminate (permanent) basis in Victoria, BC.

COE1: Must possess and maintain a Red Seal Certification
COE2: Must possess and maintain a valid, non-graduated, and unrestricted provincial or territorial Class 5 driver's license.
COE3: Current and acceptable driver’s abstract
COE4: Eligibility and willingness to obtain and maintain a Departmental driver’s license (DND 404).
COE5: Must be capable of heavy lifting.
COE6: Must be willing to wear and/or utilize Personal Protective Equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
COE7: Willing and able to work overtime, including working outside normal working hours and standby.
COE8: Willing and able to work at heights.
COE9: Willing and able to travel.
COE10: Willing and able to work outdoors, in confined spaces and in hot or cold environments.
COE11: Strict adherence to the Department of National Defence and Canadian Forces Code of Values and Ethics, Values and Ethics Code for the Public Sector,

OC1. Possession of a valid Inter-provincial Red Seal Certificate in Concrete Finisher.
EX1: Experience working as a concrete finisher in maintenance or construction environment.
EX2: Experience in installing, repairing and maintaining a variety of structural systems.
EX3: Experience in operating and maintaining a variety of hand powered tools.
EX4: Experience with both the National Building Code and Fire Code of Canada.
