About the position

Work environment
Ready to take your career somewhere extraordinary? Join us in Canada’s Western Arctic, where meaningful work meets unforgettable life experiences. Opportunities may be based in the vibrant regional hub of Inuvik or in the coastal and tundra communities of Tuktoyaktuk, Sachs Harbour, or Paulatuk—each offering a unique connection to northern cultures, landscapes, and ways of life.
Here, the North isn’t just where you work—it’s how you live. These welcoming communities are rich in Inuvialuit culture, strong community spirit, and a deep connection to the land and sea. Outside of work, life unfolds through seasonal celebrations, time on the land, and the everyday adventure of living in one of the most spectacular regions in Canada—from the Beaufort Sea coastline to vast tundra, rivers, and wildlife-filled landscapes.
The Western Arctic is also the gateway to some of Canada’s most remarkable protected areas, including Ivvavik National Park, Aulavik National Park, Tuktut Nogait National Park, and the iconic Pingo Canadian Landmark, home to the world’s largest concentration of ice-cored hills. For those ready to step outside the ordinary, this is a place where your work can make a real difference—while you experience a lifestyle unlike anywhere else in the country.
