↪ Carries out receipt, warehousing, and issuing of materiel.
↪ Inputs data and queries, produces reports on various automated database systems, and operates various related software.
↪ Prepares related documentation, and maintains registers and filing systems.
↪ Operates warehousing and materiel handling equipment (MHE) and vehicles.
↪ Identifies, investigates and resolves discrepancies.

As we rise to meet these evolving challenges, the Department of National Defence (DND) is seeking skilled and dedicated professionals to help shape the future of Canada’s defence. OTHER CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
▶ Must possess a valid provincial or territorial driver’s license.
▶ Must wear CSA approved safety footwear and any other required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
▶ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of National Defence (DND) driver’s license (DND 404).
▶ Strict adherence to the Department of National Defence and Canadian Forces Code of Values and Ethics, Values and Ethics Code for the Public Sector, Directive on Conflict of Interest, and Defence Administrative Orders and Directives (DAOD) 7021-1, Conflict of Interest.

ASSET OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION:
▶ Possession of valid Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certification.
▶ Possession of valid dangerous goods driver's certificate.

ASSET EXPERIENCE:
▶ Experience using warehouse management system software or computerized inventory system such as: SAP, Defense Resource Management Information System (DRMIS), Materiel Management (MM) Module or other systems.
▶ Experience working or volunteering in logistics, supply chain, inventory management, or a Military Management Technician environment.
▶ Experience operating a forklift or other Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
▶ Experience with Hazardous Materials Reference Application Program.
▶ Experience with Hazardous Materials handling, storage and disposal.
▶ Experience working or volunteering in an environment that includes both military and civilian personnel.
