The current need is to staff one (1) position on an indeterminate basis. A qualified pool of candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions on an indeterminate, term or acting basis. Successful completion of two years of secondary school, or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience
Experience providing clerical support services, such as data entry/maintaining information in a database, preparing correspondence and documentation, maintaining a filing system for both electronic and physical records, processing mail, ordering supplies, and organizing meetings
Experience working with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and/or Outlook
Experience providing service to internal or external clients, via telephone, in-person or by e-mail
Ability to communicate effectively in writing
Experience with transcription, or reviewing audio or video recordings
Experience providing records management services
Experience providing financial support services (e.g., preparing expenditure reports, tracking budgets)
Experience working in a law enforcement and/or legal environment
Experience maintaining a law enforcement database, such as the Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) and/or Police Reporting and Occurrence System (PROS)
