Salary, Allowances, and Benefits

In addition to salary, you are entitled to an isolated posts allowance. This can range from $17,995 to $26,105 per year, depending on if you have a dependent and the geographic location. You are also entitled to vacation travel allowance of approximately $1,000 once a year for you and each eligible dependent.
As a federal government employee, you will also receive a comprehensive benefit package including an employee pension plan and health, dental and group insurance.

Employees must perform their duties from a government of Canada physical workplace at least 2-3 days each week, or 40-60% of their regular schedule. The workplace of the positions to be filled is located in Yellowknife, NT. Successful candidates will be required to work at the work site, either full-time or in a hybrid work mode.
