Through this experimentation, valuable insights will be gathered that will inform the Public Service Commission’s efforts in modernizing GoC student recruitment programs and COOP specifically.

Duties

These positions primarily consist of project-based work developing feature-rich applications using technologies such as MS Power Platform, MS Azure Services, Service Now, ASP.net, C#, JavaScript, CSS, HTML. You will become an integral part of our team by playing a key role alongside our team members in taking projects through the various stages of the software development life cycle. You may also contribute to an existing IT product management by doing preventative, adaptive or perfective maintenance on the product.

Intent of the process

Environment and Climate Change Canada is looking for students to join the Digital Services Branch – Corporate & Enterprise Products & Services Division as an Applications Developer. This position will allow you to use your technical knowledge, effective communication and critical thinking skills and desire to learn to work on projects that have a real-life impact on our environment.

EXPERIENCE
- Experience with software development using programming languages (includes school projects).

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE
- Experience with Development Technologies (C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
- Experience with frameworks like Angular2+, Vue.js and/or Node.js, .net, Spring, React.
- Experience using version control systems like Git and platforms such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, and GitLab for managing source code, collaborating on projects, and streamlining development workflows.
- Experience with Cloud platforms.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
