Assessment accommodation

To be considered for the Research Affiliate Program (RAP), you must meet the following criteria:
• you are a full-time student in a post-secondary institution
• you are enrolled in an academic program that requires research as part of your curriculum
• you meet the minimum age required in the province/territory of work

To be appointed to the position, you must have all the essential qualifications. Other qualifications may be taken into consideration upon selected the person appointed. Some of the qualifications (essential or otherwise) will be assessed using your job application. It is your responsibility to provide relevant examples demonstrating how you meet each requirement. In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education:
The candidate must be currently enrolled at the Environmental Sciences Graduate Program at the University of Guelph, Ontario.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
Experience with the Canadian Global Environmental Multiscale model or associated Surface Prediction System
Experience with the French Building Energy Model in the Town Energy Balance scheme
Experience with energy consumption data at the city-scale

The following will be applied / assessed at a later date (essential for the job)

English essential

Information on language requirements

Knowledge:
Knowledge of the urban micrometeorological modelling
Knowledge of the modelling of building energy and photovoltaic exchanges

Abilities:
Ability to work in a team
Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
