You must have:
• A minimum of 2 years’ post-secondary education OR
• Acceptable combination of education, training, experience.

• Indigenous traditional knowledge relevant to the position AND
• Successful completion of a minimum of three (3) adult learning courses relevant to the duties of the position; AND
• Experience in supervision or leadership

Reliability Status security clearance
The position requires the incumbent to:
• Work shift-work, and/or weekends, and/or statutory holidays and provincial/territorial holidays.
• Wear a Parks Canada uniform as per the uniform policy and/or dress in period costume as per Parks Canada requirements.
• Work and/or travel in varied terrains, weather conditions, isolated locations and by various means of transportation.
• Stand/walk/hike for prolonged periods (examples include: doing point duty or roving at high use areas, 4- 6 hours of standing/walking outdoors).
• Perform certain physical tasks as per job requirements (lifting and carrying props that weigh up to 25kg up and down stairs for storage, carrying boxes of publications, wearing safety gear for traffic control, dealing with difficult people).
