Students will be required to cover all travel expenses to and from the location of work.
Events
- Support in the coordination and delivery of festivals, events, and activities at Kouchibouguac National Park;
Visitor Services – Visitor Information Centre / Entrance Gates / Camping / Ryans Equipment Rentals
- Welcome visitors in person or over the phone and give them information and directions regarding facilities, services, programs, events and regulations;
- Record, process and collect fees, issue permits, make reimbursements, sell and assign campsites where applicable. Work with a cash register, compile and record statistical data, fill out forms, sales reports, and bank deposits, and use a computer system or point of sale and booking system, helps with the sale of firewood, help with equipment rental (bike, canoe, kayak, etc.).
Parks Canada is a federal government agency responsible for the protection and presentation of Canada’s outstanding natural and cultural resources through a system of national parks, national marine conservation areas and national historic sites in all regions of Canada.
The intent of this process is to hire students for the summer 2025 at Kouchibouguac National Park.

EDUCATION:
Please confirm that you meet these eligibility factors:
- registered as a full time or part-time secondary or post-secondary student in an accredited academic program; or
- participating in adult education and retraining programs at the secondary level, operated under the authority of an accredited academic institution.
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience providing information and service to the public;
- Experience working in a team environment;
- Experience in handling cash.

ORGANIZATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Willingness to work irregular hours, overtime, weekends and/or statutory holidays and provincial/ territorial holidays;
- Willingness to work in variable weather conditions;
- Willingness to wear a Parks Canada uniform and prescribed protective equipment;
- Possession of a valid First Aid and CPR certification;
- Possession of a valid Driver's license;
- Perform certain physical tasks as per job requirements (e.g. lifting minimum of 20 lbs / 10 kgs).
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Reliability Status security clearance;
