The Canadian Forces Health Services (CFHS) is the designated health care provider for Canada’s military personnel, delivering medical and dental services at military installations across Canada and overseas. ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in social work
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
E1. Significant* and recent** experience providing psychosocial intervention/treatment using evidence based psychosocial modalities (such as CBT, CPT, EMDR, DBT)
E2. Significant* and recent** experience providing psychosocial assessment to adults as primary client group.
E3. Experience working independently with minimal clinical supervision.
E4. Significant* and recent** experience working in an Adult Mental Health care environment, including having performed assessment and treatment/structured therapy.
E5. Experience establishing or developing productive and cooperative partnerships with community based services.
*Significant experience is defined as experience associated with having performed a broad range of related activities which would normally be acquired over a period of approximately 2 years
**Recent is defined as experience obtained within the last six (6) years

Registered in good standing with a provincial/territorial social work regulatory college/association in the province/territory where employment is sought.
